To fight as a unified army under the Assyrian flag, as soldiers of an Assyrian nation, with Assyrian commanders leading them in battle.

This is a video recording of an address made on January 25, 2015 to members of the Assyrian community in San Jose, CA, by Lt. Col. Sargis Sangari USA (Ret.). In describing the efforts by Christian Assyrians in northern Syria and Iraq to defend their historical homeland against ISIS invaders, Col. Sangari called for Assyrian forces to fight as a unified army under the Assyrian flag, as soldiers of an Assyrian nation, with Assyrian commanders leading them in battle. Col. Sangari asserted that, in light of the failure of Kurdish, Sunni, and Shia forces to withstand the ISIS onslaught, the Assyrian people must take control of their own destiny, in both the military and political spheres, if they are to avoid annihilation and be recognized as enduring but more importantly equal partners to all within and outside of the region.

LTC Sargis Sangari, Chief Executive Officer of the Near East Center for Strategic Engagement, presents at the Beth Radom Congregation in Toronto at the academic conference and panel discussion titled:

Christian Genocide in the Middle East: Why is the World Silent?

    • Alexander their is a pure Assyrian force that has a large footprint. Given security and operational requirements some of its capabilities can not be discussed. With that said even this forces numbers are on a decline given other forces were created in OCT of last year and the funding need to keep it operational can not be sustained. Currently their are militias, security forces, and other fighters also that are fighting under Kurdish, Shia, and other Sunni leadership. This month we may list the names and the links of all the various forces in the area to given people are clear understanding of who is who.

  1. Both Donate buttons should be functional now. If, for some reason, the one on the menu bar does not work, the large ‘Donate Now’ button on the home page should work. Thank you for your generosity and your support for our cause. May God bless you and all those who fight against oppression!

  2. Why not safhaven and an international airport on the Ninveplain, so assyrians from all around the world can go bak an fight for the land? Its only a few ISIS left in Ninveplain so what is the problem? It was not the ISIS who driven the assyrians from theire homes in Mosul, it was the sakhla suryanaya bishop, the jahsha of the khmara gora patriark afram ignatz jahim, who got them leave theire homes. And the khmara gora is talking about genocide!
    Donating mony is killing assyrians.
